Smart Icon CoverTerms of Service
Smart Icon Cover, a Trello Power-Up by Digio Sync LLC. Effective date: [OWNER: effective date]. Last updated: [OWNER: date].
These terms are between you and Digio Sync LLC, [OWNER: company address] (“we”), for Smart Icon Cover (“SIC”). By authorizing SIC with Trello or buying a plan you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. Questions: [SUPPORT EMAIL].
1. What SIC does
SIC draws a small icon from a card's title and sets it as the card's cover in Trello. You can make an icon cover card by card on any board where SIC is added. With Auto-Gen Board Covers on a board, SIC also makes a 1-time batch of covers and covers new cards automatically. SIC is not made by or affiliated with Atlassian; Trello is Atlassian's trademark, and your use of Trello is under Trello's own terms.
2. Your account and Trello access
- You authorize SIC yourself, with your own Trello account. It asks for permission to read your boards, lists and card titles, to add the icon image to a card and set it as the cover, and to read your account name and email address. It never deletes cards or changes their text, and it never changes your Trello account.
- Everything SIC does in Trello is done as a specific member. A cover you ask for is made as you. A board's Auto-Gen Board Covers works as the member who turned it on; if that member leaves the account or their access ends, SIC turns the board's Auto-Gen Board Covers off rather than moving it to someone else. Icon covers appear in card activity under the name of the member who made them.
- You can revoke SIC's access at any time in your Trello account settings.
- On Team and Business plans, an account has an Account-Holder, Managers and Contributors. These roles exist in SIC only, not in Trello. The Account-Holder is responsible for the account, its plan and its members.
- You must be able to form a contract. [OWNER/LEGAL: minimum age]
3. Cover credits and plans
- One cover credit makes one icon cover, including a regenerated one. If making a cover fails, the credit is given back. Credits belong to your SIC account, are shared by its members, and work on any board.
- Free includes 15 cover credits, once, not every month, and a free list run: icon covers for up to 10 cards on one list, one time. Free has no auto-cover. The Free credits are given once per email address (case-insensitive, ignoring a +tag and Gmail dots), not once per Trello account. On Free, a board's credits can be spent by only the first two Free accounts to make an icon cover there; others use theirs on other boards.
- Paid plans (Solo, Pro, Team and Business, monthly or annual) include a number of Auto-Gen Board Covers slots and monthly cover credits. The Plans tab in SIC shows each plan's current price, slots and credits; the numbers there when you buy are the ones that apply to you. Monthly credits renew each monthly period (annual plans too) and unused ones do not carry over.
- A first paid plan brings a one-time bonus of cover credits. The bonus comes once per account, expires 60 days after it is given, and is not given again if you change plans. Credits that expire soonest are used first.
- A board's 1-time batch can be used once per board, ever, per account; turning Auto-Gen Board Covers off and on again does not give a second batch. A batch can be undone for 24 hours; undoing it does not return the credits.
- Auto-Gen Board Covers can be turned on a limited number of times in each billing period (your slots plus two).
- Quota and plan are calculated on our servers. We may adjust credits to correct a mistake.
4. Billing
- SIC bills you directly through Stripe; Trello and Atlassian are not involved in payment. We do not see or keep your card number.
- There is no free trial. Plans renew until you cancel.
- Upgrades (more slots and credits) start right away, and you pay the prorated difference at once. Downgrades and cancellation take effect at the end of the period you have paid for; a scheduled downgrade can be undone before then. Boards beyond a lower plan's slots are turned off, newest first, unless you choose which to keep.
- If a renewal payment fails, your plan keeps working while Stripe retries; if it is never paid, the account goes back to Free.
- If a payment is disputed or fully refunded, we take back the unspent paid credits from it and cancel the subscription at once: the account returns to Free and its boards turn off.
- Prices do not include tax. [LEGAL: confirm tax wording; no tax is collected at launch]
- Refunds: payments are not refunded when you downgrade or cancel. [OWNER: refund policy for mistakes and goodwill; consumer-law rights]
- [OWNER: notice period before a price change applies to existing subscribers]
5. Using SIC fairly
- Do not use SIC to make unlawful or abusive content, to get around its limits (for example by opening several Free accounts to collect Free credits), to attack or overload it, or to resell it.
- You are responsible for the card titles you use. Titles are sent to an AI image service to draw the icon (see the Privacy Policy). Do not use titles you have no right to share.
- SIC does not replace a cover that is not SIC's without asking you first, and does not delete anyone else's attachments.
- We may limit or end access that breaks these terms.
6. The icons
Icons are made by an AI model from the card title and the board's category and activity, so they can be imperfect, similar to each other, or not what you hoped for; use Regenerate. [OWNER/LEGAL: who owns the generated icons, the licence you get to use them, any restriction from the model provider's terms, and whether you may use them outside Trello]
7. Availability
SIC depends on Trello and on third-party services (an AI image provider, Supabase, Stripe). We aim to keep SIC running but do not promise it will always be available or error-free, and a cover may take longer than usual. We may change or stop features. [OWNER: any service-level wording]
8. Ending your account
You can stop using SIC at any time: cancel any paid plan, turn Auto-Gen Board Covers off, and revoke access in Trello. Covers already on your cards stay in Trello. To have your data erased, write to [PRIVACY EMAIL]; see the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms. [LEGAL: notice, and what happens to a paid period]
9. Warranty, liability and disputes
[LEGAL: disclaimer of warranties; limitation of liability; indemnity; governing law and venue; dispute resolution; assignment; entire agreement; severability]
10. Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters we will tell you in SIC before it applies. [LEGAL: notice period]
