Smart Icon Cover

Cover credits and plans

One icon cover, one credit

Each icon cover uses 1 cover credit, whether you make it or Auto-Gen Board Covers does, including a regenerated one. If making an icon cover fails, the credit is given back.

Credits belong to your account, not to a board, so they work on any board where Smart Icon Cover is added. On Team and Business, everyone on the account shares them.

Kinds of credits

Each icon cover uses the credits that expire soonest, so your bonus isn’t used up early. The Boards & Card Cover Credits tab shows how many of each kind you have and when they expire.

Free credits on a shared board

Free credits can be used on a board by the first two Free accounts that make an icon cover there. A third Free account can use its credits on its other boards. Paid accounts aren’t limited.

Plans

Plans differ in monthly cover credits, boards with Auto-Gen Board Covers, and members. Every plan has every feature. See Pricing.

You buy and change plans in Smart Icon Cover, on the dashboard’s Plans tab. Payment is handled by Stripe.

Upgrade

An upgrade starts at once. You pay the difference for the rest of the current period, and your account gets the difference in monthly credits right away. Switching between monthly and annual billing starts a new billing period.

Downgrade

A downgrade takes effect at the end of the period you’ve paid for. Before it does, you choose which boards keep Auto-Gen Board Covers if the new plan has fewer. Until then you can change your mind with Keep My Plan.

Cancel

You can cancel from the Plans tab or Stripe’s billing page. Your plan keeps working until the end of the period you’ve paid for, then your account moves to Free. The icon covers already on your cards stay.

A payment that fails

If a renewal payment fails, your plan keeps working while Stripe tries again. If it still can’t be paid, your account moves to Free.
